The perfect lace didn’t exist — until we made it ourselves.
Presenting Everyday Lace, a new and original collection of lace reinvented for your everyday. For the first time, we developed our very own signature lace; delicate with modern, architectural styling. At ThirdLove, we thoughtfully design each and every one of our bras to be as beautiful as they are practical. And we took that one step further with Everyday Lace.
We combined our new take on lace with our favorite fits for a special collection complete with the Everyday Lace T-Shirt Bra, Everyday Lace Uplift Plunge Bra, and underwear to match. We didn’t want to create a lace that was only beautiful; we sought to redefine the way women wear and think of lace.
“Women often have to choose between a functional everyday bra and a beautiful bra for special occasions,” said Clare Karunawardhane, ThirdLove’s Director of Design. “We designed the Everyday Lace collection to be both.”
Our Design team worked closely with a lace supplier to engineer a lace that met all of our requirements for this collection: structure, stretch, comfort, and smoothness. The result is a geo-floral pattern that strikes the perfect balance between feminine and modern, beautiful and simple.
“Finding a lace that you can shape and mold is very difficult,” said Clare. “We had to completely re-engineer the lace to work with the grain of the fabric in order to flatter the contours of the body.”
You’ll notice a blend of patterns, including stripes, florals, and dots — all of which were carefully selected. Though the combination of textures adds stunning dimension, we focused the design on wearability and smoothness for a no-see lace you can wear under anything.
Finally, lace you can — and will — wear every day.
