This Valentine’s Day, we’re giving ourselves the greatest gift of all: self-love.

Happy Valentine’s Day, my warrior.

Let me remind you: this dream you have about ‘loving yourself’ is much more than just a dream. It is your beautiful future. For me, I started by doing one thing: taking one step back from self-loathing. Because self-love does not and cannot happen in an instant, and simple changes in your body will not gift it to you either. This Valentine’s Day, let yourself see all that makes you wonderful and special.

It amazes me how easy it is to curate a list of all our flaws, weaknesses and things we wish we had. I wonder what it would be like to make an even truer list, filled with things you do love about you. Acknowledge and admire your mind, heart and everything you already are. Seems like that would be a much more beautiful platform to build off of, huh? You are loving, loved and incredibly special. Now, that’s one big truth you can add to your list already.
